After a
break of almost one year, Waqar Choudhury, is back again with
hit remix songs of the late 60s. His second solo album, "Proshno
Koro Na Amay" released by Soundtek on 18th January 2005 was
widely accepted by the music lovers and he was able to create a
deep impact. The album consisted of songs based on pure melody,
ragge, latin and typical Begali tune. In "Proshno Koro Na Amay"
Waqar Chowdhury has worked with music directors like Asiquzzaman
Tulu, Ebrar Tipu, Bappa Majumder and Ferdous. Mithila Ebrar,
Ferdous, Julfiqar Rassel, Tuhin Akhand and Shafiq Tuhin were the
lyricists.
When asked about his long absence of almost a year from the
music world, Waqar Choudhury expresses
"Basically I consider myself as a listener, not as an artist.
Music is my passion not my livelihood. Although I have no
classical background but I always try to sing from my heart. My
songs are the reflection of various memories of my life. Also
over the last few months I got extremely busy with my work. So I
was not able to concentrate on bring a new album".
